"I’ve been with State Farm since the 90s, and this is honestly one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. After being involved in a car incident where the other driver was clearly at fault, State Farm refused to properly help with my claim. Their reasoning? The other person had a newer, more expensive 2025 vehicle compared to my 2010 car. That should not determine how a customer is treated or whether they receive fair support. The level of unprofessionalism I experienced was shocking. Instead of actually listening and reviewing my situation fairly, I was brushed off and made to feel like my car—and my case—didn’t matter. The only thing I kept hearing was how “sorry” my situation was and being wished “the best,” with zero real help provided. To make things worse, I was yelled at over the phone simply for asking questions about my policy. Other employees just repeated the same scripted responses without actually listening to me. It felt like dealing with a group of people who didn’t care and just wanted to get me off the line. The atmosphere reminded me of a DMV visit—cold, dismissive, and frustrating. After decades of loyalty, this experience made it clear to me that they don’t value long-term customers the way they should. I will be taking my business elsewhere and strongly recommend others consider different insurance options that offer fair treatment, respect, and genuine customer service."
