"Super sucky experience and customer service - hope this doesn't happen to anyone else. State Farm notified me through mail that my auto policy would get canceled in 8 days. This was alarming, so I called to find out why. Mariano, my rep, said to disregard it and that the issue was getting resolved. Whelp, turns out they moved forward with the cancellation for a MISTAKE MADE ON THEIR END, and they didn't notify me again. So I was unaware that my policy got canceled. [Just FYI - insurance companies are legally required to give notice (15-45 days in advance) if they are canceling your policy. So yes, this is a sueable offense] Once I realized my policy was not active, I tried to rectify the situation and had terrible customer service. No apologies for what had happened on their end AND there are repercussions for not being covered. I get that people make mistakes, but there was no accountability or attempts to rectify the situation here. It was my first time working with State Farm, but I'm very disappointed with the customer service at this branch. Also, do not them to return phone calls or emails back to you. They really don't seem to care about their customers. Tried working with Max, Mariano, and Mark without help. =/ GO SOMEWHERE ELSE."
